Concept / Idea
A photorealistic product visualization of a wall-mounted acrylic family planner designed for home and office use. The board combines calendar + task management in one clean layout: monthly grid, weekday headers, month strip, and dedicated areas for to-do, notes, groceries, and next month. Visual language is minimal—soft neutrals, subtle shadows, and crisp typography—to fit Scandinavian-style interiors and modern e-commerce imagery.
Objectives
- design a clean, legible planner layout that photographs/renders beautifully.
- highlight functional zones (to-do, notes, groceries, next month) with clear hierarchy.
- create photoreal hero shots suitable for marketplaces and marketing.
- ensure scalable customization (family name/title, months, labels).
Process
Modeled and rendered using 3ds Max and V-Ray, with light post in Adobe Photoshop.
Workflow summary:
- precision modeling of the acrylic board, standoffs, and scene props.
- PBR materials for acrylic, ink print, metal pins; soft studio HDRI + interior light rig.
- camera set: front orthographic and two lifestyle angles for versatility.
- non-destructive color/contrast tuning for web-ready export.
Outcome / Key Features
- Photoreal acrylic material with edge refraction and soft contact shadows.
- Monthly calendar grid with weekday headers + small months strip.
- To-Do / Notes / Groceries / Next Month panels with lined fields and checkboxes.
- Customizable family title (e.g., “The March Family”).

Tools
- Modeling & Shading: 3ds Max
- Rendering: V-Ray
- Post-Production: Adobe Photoshop
Visuals
