Concept / Idea

This project focuses on designing a modern, organized residential garage that combines functionality, clarity, and material precision.

The key design element is the epoxy resin flooring, a high-gloss, self-leveling surface that provides both durability and a striking visual effect resembling polished marble. The reflective quality of the epoxy enhances lighting and creates a clean, professional workspace atmosphere.

The interior layout integrates custom metal cabinets, wall-mounted storage systems, and industrial-style pendant lights to achieve a balance between aesthetic simplicity and mechanical practicality.

Objectives

• Create a functional and visually refined workspace for automotive and hobby use.
• Use epoxy resin flooring for a seamless, reflective finish with marble-like fluid texture.
• Incorporate industrial materials such as metal, steel, and matte textures.
• Design custom cabinetry and tool organization for maximum efficiency.
• Apply focused lighting to highlight the floor’s reflective character.

Process

The garage was designed and visualized using SketchUp for modeling, V-Ray for realistic lighting and material simulation, and Adobe Photoshop for post-production enhancement.
