Weisses Schloss – Travertine Styling Wall Visualization

Process

The collaboration with Toni Scherrer began with technical sketches, hand-drawn layouts, and furniture references (Eichholtz Atzaro console and Pierre Paulin Tulip Midi chair).

Using these specifications, the layout was first modeled in SketchUp, based on real-world dimensions for the travertine desk, mirrors, and LED light placement.

Design development included:

• Building material shaders for travertine and acrylic side lighting.
• Adjusting wall colors to match the tone separation indicated by Teamwork (a slightly darker wall cladding beneath lighter plaster).
• Producing two visualization variants: one with twin mirrors, and another with a seamless full-length mirror.
• Finalizing illumination with V-Ray, calibrated to soft daylight and warm interior reflection.
• Color corrections and fine lighting balance were completed in Adobe Photoshop for presentation delivery.

Outcome / Key Features

• Photorealistic salon wall visualization presenting both variants.
• Material Palette: travertine stone, matte wall panels, warm white plaster, brass wall lamps, and red upholstered chairs.
• Lighting Strategy: ceiling-integrated indirect LED (uplight) and minimal side reflection from acrylic edges.
• Furniture References:
• Atzaro Travertine Console Table – Eichholtz
• Tulip Midi Chair – Pierre Paulin
• Final images delivered in high resolution, optimized for both print and client presentation.
